Dark Shivers-Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane

There is no need to write a post about the fact that the weather in the UK has taken a turn for the white, i.e heavy snow. I feel like if I do its just plain sloppy and lazy! Its like boohoo yeah the weather is bad, but give me...write me something different!!!

So I am giving you a taste of the Saint Laurent Pre Autumn 2013-14 ready to wear collection by Hedi Slimane courtesy of Vogue. Wow! I must say its a vast improvement from his 70s inspired debut collection...but my God, its like I wish someone would shake him and shout that he seriously needs to up his game. Dont get me wrong, I love the clothes...the whole rock vibe: Debbie Harry meets a modern day Gwen Stefani type person... but its like I have seen it all before...even in bargain basement shops. The difference being the Saint Laurent clothes look expensive, is expensive and probably smells expensive.  Nonetheless, its not novel...I wouldnt automatically see the clothes on a girl/woman and say 'Gosh that b^&ch is so lucky...she is wearing new season Saint Laurent'!!! I mean if you are spending all that money, there has to be a level of individuality that should come along side the expensive look that expensive clothes already have anyways.
